First of sorry for replying so late.

Well I can understand your frustration. You are right that we cannot trust police and govt. We are almost on our own when it comes to such incidents. You did the best thing by calling the police, thought it was of no use but that is the right thing to do.

Hi Ravi!

This night I was with my younger sister coming by metro from Noida Sector 18. There on the station I saw the sign. I was showing it to my sister and she was telling me that nobody was caring about it because all the men standing there were standing in the zone marked for "Women Only".

I share one more thing that happened. We got down at Nirman Vihar metro station. We took a rikshaw for Mandawali Railway Colony. When we were passing by the street there was a drunk guy standing at a juice corner. He made an offensive remark and I asked him to stand there while I was calling the police. He followed us to fight but we stood a little away while I was calling the police. I dialed 100 two times and asked for a police help. The police came but turned their jeep back without entering the street where we were waiting for them. I called the policeman who contacted me and asked him to turn back. He was saying it was not their area. By the time they came to the place the man had fled. The juice corner, where the man was standing, was also being shut down by the guys there. I asked the police to ask the guys where he had gone. They, as you would expect, said: "Who? We don't know." I told the policemen to ask them as they would not speak the trust easily. I told them they were all fellows. But one of the policemen went inside and came out with a Mazaa in his hands and said: "I have got this juice from them. Now I am also their fellow."

Well, is this what we would expect from our government and police?
