Finally I have ugraded my website from D5 to D6 and now I just cant stop myself from writing blogs more often :) This task was long pending and I was running away from doing it. Yes, I was little nervous and changing something that you love so much is difficult. Thsi site, my blog was my test platform for learning Drupal. I spent countless hours on the site and trying so many things here. Around 2 years back before I got married I stopped playing with it much and the site has been the same since then. Yes I was writing blogs but I really wanted to change it. Now it is done and change is indeed good. The current theme is Arthemia which I really like, may be because I used to it. I use this theme for most of my client work.
This year there are lot of things happening and for the first time in my life I started thinking seriously about my future. Updating this site was part of the plan you know ;)
I was always interested in photography but I never took it seriously. Now I will and now I am gonna make it my profession too. I love making website and I will continue to do so but my focus will be more on photography. Travelling is something I always wanted to do but life was so strangled in mundane things that I could never focus on the real goal of life. Now that I have done serious thinking about it and it feels really light and clear. Of course I will expect detours but it doesnt matter as long as destination is clear. I may take a different path but I will not stop.
So I was saying that now this blog will be primarily used for photography and usual personal non-sense. Pretty soon I will start accepting client work too. Right now I am building my portfolio. I guess I am going to need it :p
On the work side, there are few projects inline that I am working on these days. Some new interesting clients. Creating a website is no big deal now a days but how that website helps people in their business is the key thing. I give my clients personalised service, as if it is my own site and I guess thats the reason that I get recurring work from the same client, because they just cant think of the service and quality that I provide. Above all I am nice guy to work with :) - Yeah yeah shameless self promotion :p
I am really happy right now. I just did a little celebration dance after making the site live!
