Plan for tomorrow

Ok so weekend is finally here. Overall the week was above average as per my standards. I am happy but I could have done better. Anyways. Whole week I was thinking of lot of thinks that I wanted to do for the weekend. I need to go to Saraswati Vihar in Pitam Pura to get brochure samples for a printer. I has been two weeks now and I am delaying it. Not anymore. I should go there tomorrow. Ever since I started designing work I am curious about the printing. It is all together a different field. Recently I completed designing lot of stuff for one of my clients and I must say I am quite satisfied with it. I feel I am a better designer than a web developer :) yeah thats what I feel. I am not formally trained in Arts and I never learned any thing earlier. In the starting it was quite frustrating but once you start learning the tool it is not very difficult. Now I am taking more such projects. I really enjoy making logos and still graphics. It is a good thing. Now along with the website package I offer my clients designing work separately.

Now I have started doing lot of designing I want to get into the printing work. I am searching for a good printer who can print whatever I design on computer. 2 weeks back I got a few samples of a brochure that I designed but it was totally different from what I designed on PC. Thank God I checked the samples before ordering further prints.

It has been a long time, I have not worked on Linux. Fedora used to be my prime OS for so many years but for the past 1 year I am totally on windows. I really miss it. Now all I do is remote shell to my web server for usual stuff. No fun.

I have another PC lying around, I will fix it soon and install fedora in it.

On the Drupal front I have not really done any cool thing or learned anything new recently. I just finished working on a project where I created a Drupal Module to call webservice through SOAP protocol. I am really happy with my work. I would like to release that module on drupal.org but the coding standards is not upto the mark, but this is stupid excuse. I should work a little on it and make it public.

One of my potential client whom I met recently has a project on Drupal 7 and the project was interesting but he asked me to do it in 15 days only, I asked for 60 days instead. I have not heard from him but these days I am already committed to clients and I really don't want to pressurize myself.

Tomorrow there is a cycle ride near Jantar Mantar. I am not sure whether I will go there or not. If I go there it will be real fun but it will take half of my day and I normally work in the morning time. I still don't know, may be I will ask my wife :) yeah I ask her before going somewhere. Yes, this is life after marriage, but that's ok. My life has certainly become better after marriage, I am more organize and calm now and it helps in work as well. I am not advising anyone to get married here, but don't run away from it also. It is not that bad.

Cool. I feel better after writing this blog. I didnt do much productive work today, buts that's ok. There are few days in the month when you cant work much but we are all humans. It happens. May tomorrow be a better, exciting day.

Good Night!! Time to go to the Friday Market to buy vegetables :(
