Simple Thing #3: A Phone call can change your day

You must have listened to the popular song by Dido - Thank You.

The song is so true. Sometimes everything in life seems bad and there is no hope. We are lost, clueless and depressed. At times like these I suggest don't keep it to yourself. Talk to someone, it could be your wife, your friend, or parent. You don't really need to discuss your problems with them. It is ok not to share your personal stuff with everyone. People are not comfortable doing that but when you talk to someone, especially after a long time then it can change your mood. While talking to them you forget your worries for sometime and start thinking or getting involved in theirs. Sometimes you just need a simple thought to convert your negative thoughts into positive thoughts. This is my experience, you can also try it sometime. It works for me most of the times.

This post is one of the series that I started yesterday. You can read all such post tagged with "Simple Things" here http://ravisagar.in/category/topic/simple-thing

The idea is to make a list of things that make us happy. It need not to be a big achievement but simple daily stuff that brings smile on our face or makes us feel good about our lives!!

Have a nice day.
