At Sparxsys we have been trying to understand the capabilities of Forge, because Atlassian is focused on Cloud now, they are also improving Forge by adding more features to it. Lately Atlassian is also improving their marketing. They are quite active on social and have few programmes to support creators. I saw this post on the Atlassian Developer Community where they are going to interview any app developer who has an published app on the marketplace. Jira Software 9.12 LTS Release
I get excited whenever I see an update to the on prem version of Jira. There are some really good features coming to Jira with this release.
- You can pin up to 5 comments.
- Sticky comment footer to add comments from anywhere without scrolling.
- Option to automatically start and complete sprints.
- Improvements to Automation.
- New mail queue metrics.
- New health check for emails.
- Take manual index snapshots anytime.
- Improved Custom field configuration to easily create context with multiple projects.

Transfer Confluence page ownership
Pages created in Confluence have owners. Page live for years in Confluence. However when page owners leave the company you can disable their account and then change the ownership to a new users. This would be useful feature and we should be aware of this now. You can read about it here.
Moving TeaWithRavi to Sparxsys channel
We are independent Atlassian Consultants and provide honest, genuine services to our clients and we are proud of that. On my YouTube channel I have been making daily videos to share stuff related to Atlassian tools and people love those videos. However we want to know also focus a bit on the business side of things. After lot of demand and feedback we decided to launch our video courses and also open up regular live training sessions. Atlassian tools especially Jira has majority of the market and that means demand for more skilled people. There is a big gap when it comes to skills and we want to focus on that now with our trainings.
We are in a process to refresh our free videos and started posting refined videos on Sparxsys channel.

Last week I made a video showing the new improve Confluence Space creation templates. I think it is quite good and helps the users. As compared the Jira templates which can mess up your instance if you don't standardise, the Confluence templates are definitely much more useful.
