Instead of looking for a job consider working for yourself. If you have a skill then someone somewhere in the world would be willing to pay you.
I started earning money by selling C++ projects in late 90s, then sold utilities built using Visual Basic and Excel VBA, followed by setting Linux servers in companies, then I started trainings, I also earned money making logos, brochures, photography, videos, mobile apps and have made 100s of websites in the past and ofcourse I have been doing Atlassian work as well. I love doing all this.
Sometimes you need a job for stability but you should not sit idle, spend some time daily on side projects. Over the years I have learnt how to do my work efficiently so I always have enough time.
And yes I do earn money from YouTube by spending not more than 15mins daily.
Finally work hard not smart, yes there are no shortcuts in life. Smart work should be the default but you have to spend lot of time getting world class.
