While making my videos I never really thought about hiding the status bar or a topbar. I pressed Mod-b by mistake and I realised that it will hide the topbar. No patch needed. I am happy and will be using it now.

I found a way to display simple icons in the statusbar using ttf-font-awesome and now I am also display the current weather using #wttr.in
