Put the right people on the right priorities with Atlassian Talent
Atlassian Talent, now generally available as part of the Strategy Collection, is a workforce planning app designed for dynamic, fast-paced companies. Unlike traditional tools, Talent gives leaders real-time visibility into how their people align with strategic priorities. It helps plan and design workforce structures, map talent to key focus areas, and make confident, data-driven decisions quickly. Used internally at Atlassian, Talent transformed how the company allocates resources.

Evolving Jira terminology: ‘Projects’ will soon be ‘Spaces’
Atlassian is renaming Jira "projects" to "spaces" to better reflect how teams use Jira today—as flexible containers for work rather than traditional projects with fixed timelines. Functionality remains unchanged—only the name and icon will be updated. The shift helps distinguish Jira Spaces from Atlassian Projects, which focus on high-level planning and stakeholder updates. Rollout begins in October 2025, with no action required from admins.

Org admins can now rename Managed Teams in team profile pages
Earlier this year, Atlassian introduced Managed Teams, which link team membership to a connected group (local or externally managed). Starting next week, users can rename Managed Teams directly from the team profile. From August, this renaming feature will also be available in Atlassian Administration during group connection.

Introducing Team links: Centralize all your team's key resources in one place!
Atlassian has introduced Team Links, a feature that lets you connect not just Jira projects and Confluence spaces, but also any web link—like Slack channels, Google Drive folders, Figma files, or Loom spaces—directly to your team profile. The old "links" section has now been merged into a single, unified Team Links area, making your team profile a centralized hub for all important resources.

The project manager plays a crucial role in the success of any training program. They are responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring that training aligns with business goals. They act as a bridge between trainers, stakeholders, and team members, keeping communication clear and objectives focused. A good project manager also tracks progress, handles risks, and ensures post-training evaluation is in place.
