More on the move from Jira ‘Projects’ to ‘Spaces’
Atlassian is updating Jira’s terminology by replacing ‘Projects’ with ‘Spaces’ across all Jira Cloud products, including Jira Service Management and Jira Product Discovery. This change is only in naming—functionality remains the same. The rollout starts September 1, 2025 for Free and Standard plans, October 20 for Premium and Enterprise, with full rollout by November 10, and Release Tracks by December 9, 2025.
