Deprecating infrequently used macros in Confluence Cloud

Some macros are now deprecated and will be removed from Confluence Cloud on 26th September. Atlassian will no longer fix bugs for these macros and you will see (Deprecated) next to the macro names.

New Community Portal look

Recently we noticed a different look and feel of the Atlassian Community. It is not massively different from before but still it is good to see sight changes here and there. As we have always suggested Atlassian Community is one of the best place to get answers and learn.

Reply to comments for meaningful conversations in Jira

There is a new feature in Jira to reply to comments that is child comments also known as threads. Personally I think this would be a great addition to Jira's native comment capabilites.

Someone asked me this question about whether to start learning scripting on Jira Cloud or Data Center.

Updates in the Jira Cloud iOS and Android app:

There are some improvements done in the mobile app. I do use the Android app for Jira, it is simple and works fine but yes I would always appreciate new features. There are new incident management capabilities to help users manage the tickets by marking them as "major" from the app, there are new gadgets in the iOS app, push notifications and some performance improvements.

There has been a problem with creating and editing pages on Confluence Cloud today. Good thing is we know that Atlassian has acknowledged it on their statuspage.
