Now and then

These are the two photographs of mine taken at the same place but at different times. Lot of things have changed since the last step I took out of this school. I am so glad to see that the primary school hasn't changed much. Apart from LCD screens on the classroom walls and drawings made by little kids, everything else is same.

Is it a wrong one way sign?

Submitted by ravisagar on Mon, 02/16/2009 - 03:45

I saw this traffic sign on Friday last week in Gurgaon Udyog Vihar. In my opinion the sign is wrong. The arrow that shows the entry should have been cut off. How can the person coming from the opposite direction know that it is a single road?

Video killed the radio star

Submitted by ravisagar on Mon, 02/16/2009 - 03:19

When I was small I used to love the song Aauuaa Aauuaa from the movie Disco Dancer. I realized it much later that the song was inspired from the song by "The Buggles" - Video Killed The Radio Star, when I listened to it I loved it even more than the Hindi version. There is something about this song, no matter how many time I listen to it, I never get bored. Today I heard this song on the radio while coming to the office in the cab. This was the first song that was aired on MTV on 1 August 1981, at 12:10 A.M. Thats just an amazing fact and on February 27, 2000 it also became the millionth video to be aired on MTV!

Friday - Thirteenth

The week was kind of dull, I didn't do anything new or exciting. In fact for the past couple of weeks I am just not doing anything besides coming to office everyday. Weekend is finally here and I am hoping to start some new activity.

Submitted by ravisagar on Wed, 02/11/2009 - 06:46

Last night it rained in Delhi, all night there was thunder with lightning, it think it also hailed because I heard loud noises of rain. I wanted to get up but was too lazy to leave my blanket :) I am glad now, the weather is pleasant again after some uncomfortable warm days.

Winters gone

Submitted by ravisagar on Tue, 02/10/2009 - 05:49

It is that time of the year when you leave your home in the morning wearing your favorite jacket just to find out that you don't really need to wear it. It is almost mid February, winters are gone. There is not even a slight child in the mornings.
