I used to cycle a lot, quite a lot in Delhi but ever for some strange reason I completely stopped cycling after moving to UK. Although I bought a bike 3 years ago but I never really did enough cycling all these years. There are so many great places near my place but I didn't really go there on my bike. My favourite route is the Burnham to Windsor by river Jubilee and Thames. It is a fantastic route.

Recently I resume cycling, the weather was good as well this year (not anymore), recently I also went to Maidenhead which is very near my place. Made a videos on my trip as well.

Anyways I hope I can continue cycling. I prefer it more than running as it gets you far with less effort.

Hi Swentel,

1. So we create a node using appropriate class like 'u-in-reply-to', 'u-like-of' or 'u-repost-of' class. This is clear.
2. Then we go "Publish to", enter the target url like "https://realize.be/blog/send-me-webmention-drupal" and save the node. This is clear
3. What is the purpose of the Link field that we add on the node? In "Publish to" field there is also an option to select the Link field. Is it just another way of doing it?
4. On your site (or a on mine) do I need to click on https://webmention.io/realize.be/webmention for your site to process the 'u-in-reply-do'? or will your site anyways process this post on the next cron run?
5. I have enabled comment on my site, if you reply to me the same way, will it also add a comment?
6. Can we do it in one go, like while we are adding the post? I guess we can.

Thanks a lot for your module. It is great and I am eager to understand set it up on my site as well. I think I getting there :)

Have been cutting my hair since last year. Very satisfied. This hair style is simple because you cut from sides and that is it.

I believe that learning should never stop and it is especially true for us in the IT field where there are so many things to learn. I didn't learn Drupal, Jira or Linux because I had to, I learnt them because I enjoyed these technologies and I did all that in my free time and because of all the extra learning I now have a career in these areas. Now people usually say that they don't have enough time which I understand but I feel for majority of us we can definitely squeeze few hours every day if we want, it depends of course how desperate you are but I think a bit of desperation is not bad. If you really want to learn something and you can see yourself using that newly acquired skill 6, 1 year or 2 years from now then that is all you need. So a bit of day dreaming is always good. I always dream about what I want to be in near future. That's what keeps me aligned and motivated.

Coming back to the problem of time if you really want to do it you will find time. I find myself fortunate that I cannot sleep after 4 AM at all. I am conditioned to wake up automatically before 4 AM everyday. So these days every morning I spend couple of hours learning Node.js, I am quite late to join the party but I don't really dive into new technologies unless I am 100% sure. Node.js seems like a perfect match for my existing skills. I do web development using Drupal where Node.js can always be used to build a front end with headless Drupal. I also work as an Atlassian Consultant and with Atlassian focussing more and more on Cloud, where you can develop apps using Node.js so it seems like a win win situation for me if I acquire these skills.

I will come back to this page and update it with my progress on current projects I am working on.

Projects in Node.js

I believe that the best way to learn something is to get your hands dirty. I will be honest it is not easy to learn a totally new language or technology, that is why I do it in the morning when there is absolutely no distraction and I can train my mind to do difficult things. I think after few weeks it will be good.

I hope you enjoyed reading this post. Enjoy.

Yes I can checkin from my site without using any other service. It is not difficult really. Just create a field that will let you store the location. I can also attach an image ;) 😊

Seems like kid will stay at home for more time. Teaching kids at home is really thought and I was trying to find some interesting downloadable worksheets on various topics like Maths, English and general studies but I couldn't find good free options so the last few months of have been working on creating my own worksheets which I will also release. Do let me know if you are interested.

I made plenty of videos on my YouTube channel just focussed on Portfolio for Jira, those videos are structured properly as a course that you can take to learn Advanced Roadmaps. However YouTube is not always great and it is easy to get lost. So you can follow that course here on my site. Here is the link to the course. Apart from the videos you might also find quizzes to validate your learning and some important articles to help you. Enjoy.
